Inspiration via Video

The rain was slow and steady and had set in for the whole day on Wed, Nov 5.  I thought I'd just take a few snaps as I ran my errands, but I switched over to video to capture the sound of the rain.  I appologize for the louder crackling sound...I don't know exactly where that is coming from.  Anyway, after watching the video when I got home,  I realized this is a good reference source for creating my work.  I am currently working on that and will post the finished paintings soon...

Here is a look back to a splash of summers green as we wait for the predicted snow showers from the arctic storm dipping south into the USA.  I'm not sure if we will get any accumulation here, but alas winter is on its way.
